Black Bear Diner has a nice rustic aesthetic. Comfy seating and the atmosphere is very welcoming. Daisy was very quick and kind, on top of everything! I ordered the chicken fried steak with hashbrowns and biscuits. It was more than filling! The steak was very tender and flavorful, the hash browns had great flavor and were crunchy outside and soft in the middle. I ordered my eggs over easy, they were perfect. Biscuits were very soft! Some of the best I've ever had. Gravy was very nice, ordered more just to smother. My meal was only $21! Definity will be back again!

Absolutely disgusting experience at Black Bear Diner. We ordered biscuits and gravy, and when we opened the box it literally looked like it had been dropped on the floor before being packaged. There was lint all throughout the food and, even worse, a disgusting hair in it. Completely unacceptable and honestly made us lose our appetite immediately. The pancakes were also awful. The powdered sugar on top wasn’t fresh or soft — it was hard, crunchy, and stale tasting. What made the situation even worse was the manager’s response. Super friendly staff. We were greeted and seated quickly. We asked for the breakfast steak special but they were out of steaks and didn't offer substitutions. No biggie, we perused their menu and found many other delicious options. From breakfast to dinner you can find it at the Black Bear Diner. Staff is very attentive and friendly.
