I rolled into town on a surveying job, which means my coworkers for the week were a pickup truck, a GPS unit with a personality, and several acres of dirt. After days of chasing satellites and arguing with coordinates, I needed somewhere to vibe with actual humans. Enter Flashbacks my emotional support establishment. Walking in felt like stepping into a ‘90s dive bar in the best possible way neon glow, good energy, zero pretension. The kind of place where everybody looks like they’re genuinely enjoying themselves, and somehow you are too within five minutes. The staff? Thriving. The crowd?

Went there yesterday and came out fat full. Had the Bar B Que Brisket and Mac and cheese pizza. Really good even though it could have had more brisket and just a tad more Mac on it. But really tasty. Had a Southerner sandwich that was damn good. Brisket, pull pork and pimento cheese on a soft bun. Excellent! But those damn pig wings... Deep Fried baby back ribs tossed in your favorite wing sauce. I had the honey bar b que and they were fabulous!!! Meaty, tender, and the sauce was thick and evenly coated. Damn good. Atmosphere was cool. Job well done.

Great watering hole if you're looking for a drink or two. Food is pretty good with slices of pizza available if you're not too hungry. The staff are wonderful and ready to serve
