I ordered takeout and the lasagna Was simply not edible. You can see from the picture. It’s just stewed meat sauce with a bad flavor, no noodles. My husband was also really bad, the kids butter noodles were fine but Overall extremely disappointing, I’m not sure I’ve ever had take out this bad. This is actually my first google review, But I feel so disappointed in this meal That I feel I’m doing a disservice if I don’t give a negative review.

Getting takeout from Clemente’s for the first time. I am so loving it! Gnochi and Malfatti are soft and gooey and lovely delicious. 3 Beans salad was so refreshing. I highly recommended Clemente’s. We will definitely be back!!

Does anyone know if there are any bachelorettes in this family? Because I would marry someone just so I could eat this food on a regular basis. The food gods have blessed me with something special today, I ordered the spaghetti and the malfatti which were very generous portions. This is the real deal people. I originally ordered out of convenience because it’s close by my jobsite…I will drive from Davis to come back for this. 🔥 🔥 🔥 so good. Hangover has been resolved. So so so so good.

After over 10+ years I still think about this place. I dream of the food here. I’ll never forget my first experience back at Val’s Liquor Shop…Clemente saying in shock, “You never had malfatti before?!?! Get over here right now!” He was almost offended (lol in a good way) And he waved behind the counter to take me back showing me the board he makes it on and how he carefully rolls each one (correct me if I am wrong). I won’t forget his giant hands rolling each of the malfatti on his own. Italians are some of the hardest working people I know. Honestly, this is a lost art and very few people or
