I’m in Nashville for work. I honestly thought I kind of hated Nashville. Turns out I was just in all the wrong places. Tonight I found Black Rabbit by sheer luck and it was an instant soul connection with the whole vibe of the place. Immediately my server Jen made me feel as welcome as an old friend. She gave me great recommendations of what to check out in the alley and recommended their old fashioned and the pork chop. Both were so perfectly executed and she even offered me extra sauce because she personally loves it and knows the craving it incites! The bone-in pork chop had a whole grain

Our group was here on a Tuesday evening and the experience was terrific. The pistachio martini was very interesting - a bit sweeter than I would have preferred but enjoyable nonetheless. Staff was friendly and had a lot on their hands with the size of our party. Our menu was predetermined and the selections were on-point. We were served family style and had a number of different appetizer and entree items placed on the table. We has some great desert choices too. We dine as a group like this twice a year and this was one of our better experiences.

The experience was disappointing-service was not deserving of the imposed 22% tip. The server was not friendly; he did not introduce himself or the restaurant to us. We were a group of 8 adults from ATL. I shared my dinner with a friend and asked for a plate (he knew I was sharing the meal); he abruptly told me to use my appetizer plate instead.
