Decided to try Menya based on the reviews while passing through New Haven and I am so glad we did. They had some of the BEST hong kong style beef noodles i’ve had in a long time. Melt in your mouth brisket, broth was very flavorful and the noodles were perfectly prepared. My wife had the ramen and the kids had karaage and they were all amazing. The staff were super friendly and attentive. Will definitely go there whenever we’re in town!

I actually wanted to write this review awhile ago but haven’t gotten around to it. Ive been here twice already and I truly appreciate the atmosphere the restaurant puts together, especially after coming back from my trip to Japan. A great place to have a quiet lunch by yourself. Plenty of options to choose from but I always go with the Ramen, Gyoza, and a bowl of rice. My only issue is that I wish they were open on Mondays !! Lol, I get it though, everyone deserves a day off.

The food was NOT worth what i paid. The noodles tasted from scratch and that’s the only part i liked about everything i ate. No way did i pay that much for some mediocre food. We got the truffle dumplings and two different kinds of ramen. The broth did not have good flavor. Tons of umami but like not the good kind. Pretty bland. Same thjng w the dumplings. I would’ve never known they were supposed to be truffle if you didn’t tell me. I was so excited but so disappointed
