I got the chicken stew yellow rice and beans with plantines. The food was all slopped on top of each other, the beans that are usually on the side was just slopped. Usually they don't put the broth to the stew in the take out plates, mine was put together like that. It made everything just mushy and unedible. I can't pin point where this smell is coming from but it's a garbage old food smell. I can't pin point where because everything is together. But you only get that smell when the food is old. I purchase mix rice with pigeon peas & a whole chicken from this restaurant. I was very disappointed because I read the reviews & they're positive. However, the chicken is so dry that I needed several glasses of water to be able to swallow the it. The rice was also very dry, it tasted as if the cook didn't use oil or anything to moisten it up & hardly any beans. They need a different cook. Beware! They charge extra if you use a credit or debit card. 🤦🏻‍♀️😡

Huge portions, great prices. Granted food service is a hard job but the staff could have paid a little more attention to my friend's drink order. Overall a good experience and we are more than happy to come back in the near future. PS the meat is super tender.

Great hole in the wall for some delicious Dominican food. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The chicharrón was crunchy and delicious. The Pernil had good seasonings. And the drinks were refreshing, especially the pineapple juice
