Really enjoyed our meal here!! Everything was 10/10. I’ll start with the service which was excellent - from the hostess (I believe it was Alexis?) who accommodating me calling an hour before on a Saturday night of a holiday weekend and then not only swapped us for a great table, to the peaceful ambience in there. You almost feel like you’re at your friends house but it’s extremely elegant, sophisticated and simple but homey! There are only 14 tables, but the staff were wonderful. The prices demand it but you will get attentive service. And the ambience is spectacular. You get to sit by a dock with water right next to you. It is a very romantic place. They don’t have any loud music which is great. Their wine list is extensive. And with the corkage being $75 may as well try their wines. The cuisine is French, which I love. The scallops were perfect. I did not like the gravy as much as it tasted overly sweet. The pork loin was only OK because it could be more tender and it was a little dry. The brioche bread pudding

The Spanish Crispy Octopus was the BEST octopus I've ever had! The sauce with the octopus was so delicious and flavorful! We stumbled upon The Dock while visiting Newport and the restaurant is such a gem. The service was amazing, everyone was so friendly & kind. Our server Frankie was great, along with the rest of the team. I will be visiting Newport again just to come back to the dock! I can not wait to try the Duck, Fish Of The Day, & Lamb! Thank You!
