The staff was very friendly however I was shocked at the low quality of the pizza. I asked for a couple slices of cheese and they didn’t have it so they asked if Sicilian was okay and I was fine with that. They gave me pizza with cheese that wasn’t even melted yet the crust was somehow burnt. There were also pieces of pepperoni on it even though i doubled checked they were cheese. I’ve never had a cheese pizza I didn’t like not even from the freezer section. As someone who’s been there in the past I’m just shocked if this is the current acceptable quality.

Abates in North Haven never disappoints. I have been going to Louie's Restaurant since he was on Wooster Street and the food never disappoints. Today, Anna our server treated us like we were family, and on Mothers day, it wes really appreciated. Louie stopped by the table and as always, thanked us for coming in and supporting him. Great job by all. (I only wish I could give them 10 stars) 👍👍

I hate writing negative reviews, especially for a restaurant I’ve enjoyed in the past. This used to be one of my go-to places for pizza, but my most recent experience was extremely disappointing. After not ordering for a few months, I picked up a pizza loaded with bacon, meatballs, pepperoni, onions, and mushrooms. Unfortunately, it was cooked far beyond what it should have been. The crust was so burnt and hard that the slices wouldn’t even bend when picked up. Instead of being hot, fresh, and flavorful, the entire pizza was dried out. The toppings, which should have been juicy and delicious,
