heater. Our server was helpful and fun! We ordered from the happy hour menu which was a great value. The mussels were delicious and the sauce was so good especially with their delicious bread! The margherita pizza was crispy and the ravioli was flavorful. The bruschetta was well balanced and the caprese salad had green tomatoes which were so good. Robert, the manager, gave each couple a home made tiramisu to celebrate my sister's birthday which was so very generous. We look forward to going back soon!!

We ordered the salmon which was good and the caprese salad with grilled chicken which wasnt good as the chicken was extremely dry and did not taste good. Our waitress was also tending the bar so our service was not good and even had to ask other wait staff for refills and salt and pepper.... Definitely not what we expected at the prices charged...

We were looking for authentic Italian in Oceanside on a Monday and found Blade 1936, which looked to tick the box from the website. We called ahead as the Google listing mentioned the kitchen wasn't open until Tuesday and the staff confirmed it was open. We enjoyed delicious pizzas and a salad. The menu is comprehensive and the service was excellent. The Staff are very organised and the food was served promptly. On a neighbouring table wine was served in a decanter, which has a nice touch. 5* all round and thanks for a great dinner! 🍕🍻🥗

Dined at Blade 1936 on Wednesday, February 18, 2026. We decided to dine out last minute so we were not properly dressed. Arrived there past 8 pm, and it looked like their dinner rush hour had already passed. Nonetheless, we were seated and ordered food. We didn’t want to eat too much so we ordered main course, plus a glass of wine each. We got our food, but still no utensils; hence, we asked for our utensils. Also we asked for another glass of water since e there were four of us. Services were a bit off, which was a bit disappointing because the food tasted good.
