Descent food for an outrageous price. I have eaten five guys periodically for nearly two decades. The food has always been consistent. The fries are great, and 8 out of 10 consistnely. The burgers are good but very greasy. Now I am not typically one to complain about grease but when it makes everything else saugy, from the bun to the experience, it is hard to call it a great burger. Service was good and atmosphere is always consistently good. Biggest drawback is the price. Now Five Guys has never been particularly cheap, but I spent over $13 for just myself. We stopped in at the Five Guys in Ogden for a quick lunch, and overall it was a solid experience with a few things worth mentioning. We ordered a couple of burgers along with both the regular fries and the Cajun fries. One thing my son didn’t realize at first is that Five Guys lets you add any toppings you want for free. He accidentally ordered his bacon burger plain, but the staff was great about it—they quickly offered to give him all the toppings on the side so he could build it the way he wanted. Strider and his crew made our birthday dinner exceptional. We had 16 people there to eat and they went above and beyond to make sure that we had a good experience. The food came out in a timely manner and was served hot.

The service was decently fast. The burger was a medium heat when i got it. It was not hot off the grill. The Cajun fries were good and hot, hotter than the burger, and had a great flavor to them. I ordered a simple Bacon Cheeseburger, coke to drink. Better than most fast food places. However, it was only a step above fast food. There was nothing fantastic about the taste of this burger. They did put on plenty of meat. Not much atmosphere about this place either.
