Walked into Salmex for dinner. Had tacos, burritos, pupusas quesadillas, chicken a al parilla. Food was absolutely delicious, quick to arrive, had lots of flavor in it. Even our super picky 6 years old inhaled his dinner without betting an eye. Highly recommend, and likely will return here one more time before we return home. So many things to try! The food was delicious, however customer service is not as warm and welcoming as youd expect from a Latino restaurant. I went in for brunch and really enjoy the Salvadoran Breakfast and the hot chocolate.

I had a fantastic experience at SalMex ! I’m a hungry flight attendant. I’m also a bit of a food Karen😆, however! I really loved my Flautas de pollo 😋 I also had 3 pupusas 1 chicken and two bean and cheese! Yes I ate all of it ;-) don’t judge Pupusas were supposed to be for breakfast! Anyway ! I love being pleasantly surprised! It was AMAZING! I can’t wait to be back this way ;-)

Great restaurant downtown Omaha. Street tacos and Pupusas are must haves. Slow service when busy but everything is made to order fresh and hot. Small place with tables and booths. Burritos are great as well
