Live music (Thu-Sun with dual piano). Not sure if there's live music on other nights. Went there alone as w female solo vacationer. LOVE Palm Desert--first stay here. Stayed at the Mojave Resort (wonderful spot with amazing beds) and they recommended this restaurant. The musicians are excellent. EXCELLENT. Food was okay. I got the shrimp appetizer and a pasta chicken dish.

Our first night in Palm desert we went to the el paseo district and found kitchen 86. The area shuts down fairly early with only restaurants open. We got there about 9pm and the place was busy. Loud music coming onto the street and a full restaurant. The outdoor patio had space mainly because it was extremely hot that night, 35c plus, it had been 40 during the day. There were tables, and a large bar in the center of the venu which had seats all around it. We were seated at a high top after about 5 minutes wait. My boyfriend and I came for dinner, and our server Natalie was very accommodating and attentive with us! The food was amazing. We got the tagliatelle bolognese with the bread (delicious) and the shrimp borracho! Just as we came in for dinner, there was live music about to start! Krystofer was amazing and also took song requests, which was so cool. We had such a great time and will be back again!

What a fantastic restaurant with a diverse menu. We sat on the outside deck for lunch, which has been newly redone. It is roomy, and a great spot to watch cars and people go by. We started with the boom boom shrimp, not too spicy but with a great flavor. We then split the BBQ Chicken Pizza - lots of cheese, chicken and garlic, and cooked to perfection. It was really good. The restaurant was very clean, and our server continually checked on us to make sure we were happy. I look forward to trying other items on the menu!
