If you're looking for southern food and cooking, this is your place. Also one of the few places with a decent and fresh salad bar too. The best day to go is usually Friday when they have seafood if you like seafood. But still good anytime, definitely don't miss the macaroni and cheese, or fried pickles also. Really can't go wrong here, Southern and some of everything for everyone.

After eating touristy area foods all week, we decided to stop on the way out of town. So glad we did, best meal I’ve had at a restaurant in a while. Best buffet I’ve had. Great southern food. Fried chicken was my favorite. Chocolate cake to end it!

The service was great, the food was overall good, but the bread pudding? Best I’ve ever had, hands down. The pecan pie was also absolutely delicious. Sad we missed the carrot cake!

Wonderful place! Home cooking at it's finest. And the nicest people you could ask to meet. Liz took very good care of this old man. I made it a point to get a tiny spoonful of everything, and a slightly bigger spoonful of some things. The turkey and dressing and gravy was some of the best I've ever had, the vegetables were fresh and delicious, I thought I was at my grandmother's house, well, I guess I was at Granny's Place. I hear they are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I may have to take early retirement and just move down here!
