Great little local coffee shop. Seemed friendly and inviting. The staff was super helpful and offered tasty suggestions. They have a great coffee menu and a small bakery cabinet with goodies. There was plenty of seating inside to hang out while enjoying your food and coffee. I must try when in the area!

I have been coming to and enjoying spearhead coffee since they opened in 2014 - with that in mind, I recently had an experience that compelled me to provide some feedback. I came in on a Friday early afternoon, very quiet, to do some work setting up my new laptop. I came up to the counter and was engaged in a way that felt curt and detached, unfortunately a feeling I have felt increasingly when coming in. It’s a nice coffee shop providing exceptional baked goods options. The coffee tastes amazing; but the baked goods are far superior. The orange cake, jalapeño scones was outstanding!! The downside is that service is very slow.

Overrated. If these baristas worked in Italy they would not last a day. Sooo slow. The long queues are due to this not to the quality of the coffee. I’d try other coffee shops in town. Any coffee shop with more merchandise than coffee on display may not be a great choice. I mean add a bit more quality food to round out your offer. If you do go the house blend $3 8oz is probably a good bet. They could also give the plant a decent dust.
