Taj W★★★★★First time visiting Paso Robles and while I was excited for the vineyards, I definitely needed a break from wine - and The Alchemist’s Garden was exactly what I was looking for. This place was recommended by the group I was with (they’ve done this trip a few times), and it absolutely lived up to the hype. We ended up coming back three separate times during our trip… which pretty much says everything. The vibe is perfect - cozy, speakeasy-ish, and the kind of place you can just post up belly-up at the bar and stay awhile. Great energy without being over the top. From the moment we walked in,
Dave Hong★★★★★A unique restaurant, my wife and I had a great dinner and great experience here. To start, we had a couple cocktails: the Nicolas Flamel and the Theory of Forms. The Nicolas Flamel was good, a slightly spicy margarita. The Theory of Forms was great, with sugary foam, it was like a dessert. Liked it so much, I got it as my second drink. The food was amazing—the guys had the prime steak sandwich special—and their short cut fries were honestly the best I’d had. The cocktails were beautiful and tasty. Can’t say enough about Danny, who helped make this a memorable experience. Thank you!

The menu was intriguing since it had such a wide variety of food items and a good chunk of veggie forward dishes and season items that rotate. It was a busy Saturday night but we were able to be sat at the bar right away. The decorations of the restaurant ranged from whimsical to silly, with Christmas displays up for the holiday. The menu was a little booklet that was mostly different fun "alchemist" style drinks. When we got our drink, it came in a wooden box that was opened and steamed poured out. It was difficult to decid
