I love that I didn't feel rushed like most restaurants. I am not familiar with the cuisine and the waitress was very helpful in explaining everything. I loved the jollof dish, the plantains, and dessert. I would pass on the beef suya fries, but not bad.

We ordered via Uber Eats. Okra soup was spoiled. Plantains were stale and unappetizing. Fufu was average, but without the soup, my wife will not eat Fufu by itself. My wife is African and she is very disappointed, not only with the food but with the fact African food is already underrepresented, hence if you engage in the adventure of selling it, not only is it an opportunity but a duty to make it excellent because you potentially carry the burden of a standard. People who have otherwise no other experience with African food may be left forever tainted by this place.

The food was excellent, cooked to perfection!! I had the Jollof Rice with Fish and my friend had the Light Soup and Fufu, the portion was nice. The owner and staff were very friendly and courteous! My only complaint is that they should have another location on the South side! I WILL be returning!!!!

Located in Peach Tree Corners this West African Eatery is a gem! Sweet sounds of African music can be heard as you enter. A warm ambiance with touches of traditional West African decor. From assorted meats to vegan options everyone is bound to visit and enjoy. We tried a little bit of everything! Grilled Tilapia, Assorted Meat, Red Red,Parboil & Jasmine rice, beef suya and Ifeanyi’s favorite: Eugusi Soup & pounded yams. Many fear the spice of West African cuisine but at Cafe Songhai they cater to the average pallet. Nothing was overly spicy and everything was bursting with flavor. Great cus
