Food was good. I only had the Mac and Cheese Tator bites, honey butter cornbread, and honey butter biscuit. The Mac and Cheese Tator bites were perfect. More Mac and Cheese than Tator totes but the Tator tot gave it stability. The cheese melted on top also was good. The biscuit and cornbread were coated in the butter. It was a little overpowering on the cornbread, but the cornbread was still moist and good. I was really excited to try this place, not gonna lie. It’s been on my list for over a year. Unfortunately, the experience just didn’t match expectations. We had already looked over the menu beforehand and knew what we wanted. I was out running errands and decided to make a stop at Tater Que for lunch on Saturday afternoon. The crowd was a mix of couples, friend groups and two larger groups celebrating. The Staff was friendly and I sipped on a cool lemon drop while waiting for my huge potato with a bbq rib and Mac. Everything was made fresh and the sauce was tasty!
