Stumbled on this little jewel while downtown for jury duty. Had the empanadas and they were fantastic! Cooked perfect - no burnt ends, no charred edges, cheese inside was melted but not over-heated and vaporized. Great balance of meat and cheese. The outside pastry was firm enough to hold but flaky enough to be enjoyable. Rice and beans were a great side. And the staff was SUPER nice. Going back the next time I'm downtown!

Easily the best Mexican in downtown Pittsburgh and one of the top places in the whole region. Been coming in for many years, and they were one of the first places to reopen during Covid when only a sparse few were working downtown. They continue to earn my loyalty with high quality food and service. Tacos are amazing. Try the al Pastor.

Made a quick last minute decision to stop here before the lunch crowd arrived somewhere around 11:30 am on a Tuesday. Best decision! This place is a really nice little spot! I’d absolutely eat and order from here often if I worked in town! Clean Fresh Nicely plated The flavors, food temps and quality are all there!! As in, we will be back…My son had tacos, my husband had the California burrito and I had the chicken quesadilla. Excellent!! Excellent!! Excellent!!

The food here was fantastic. I held back on the 5th star for service and atmosphere for two minor reasons. Although it is very clean and has a cool vibe, it was pretty smokey inside and a bit cold. I dont know if the exhaust fans weren't working properly but the day I was there you left smelling like you worked in the kitchen. The were also very backed up that day. The folks are super nice and apologetic. I doubt its always backed up like this but they business was steady. I will definitely be returning. Again, food was great.
