We were looking for a place in downtown Pittsburgh that sold pizza slice for an after noon snack we were directed to Ephesus a lil nook pizza 🍕 place tucked in downtown Pittsburgh. Ephesus was definitely worth the walk after experiencing a day at the museum. Ephesus has friendly service the guys are steadily pushing out pies. They offer Vegan and Turkish pizzas 🍕, calzones, pastas, salads 🥗, Mediterranean sides and dips, bowls and an array of appetizers and desserts. The pizza can be ordered by the slice and comes hot out of the oven. The sauce is thumbs up 👍🏾 and the cheese 🧀 is cheesy

Great service & great atmosphere. The pizza was waaaaay too saucy and cheesy. I took a bite of one slice and threw it away. I was HIGHLY disappointed! 😔 The amount of sauce was too much for me. And that thick heavy cheese was too much for me too. You may not be able to tell by the picture but in person you’d definitely be able to see.

While spending a weekend away in Pittsburgh, we were looking for something unique and easy on our last night in town. We found Ephesus via Google and went for it! The lamb kebab pizza was great! Had an order of falafel too, but didn't get a picture of that! Would recommend for any foodie that is looking for some shawarma or just grabbing a slice!

The best vegan pizza I have ever had!!! Here’s a picture of a slice of 4 different kinds. It was absolutely delicious. Highly highly recommend. My favorite is the Casablanca pictured in the top left.
