This was our first time trying the lunch buffet at Grand Dhaba in Plano, and we will definitely be coming back soon! What we loved most is that all the food is not too spicy, tasting just like comforting, homemade cooking. The biryani was absolutely delicious and had that nostalgic flavor that makes me miss it every day. Their lentil dish is also fantastic and easily my favorite. We drove about 40 minutes with a lot of excitement to try authentic North Indian and Punjabi food—especially since I’m Punjabi myself. To start with, the buffet spread wasn’t very extensive and had limited options. That said, we were already aware of this, so it wasn’t a surprise. However, I did feel that many of the dishes were quite heavy on oil and salt, which affected the overall taste. We went for lunch on a Friday. We were the only guests the entire time we were there. I expect this to be more popular for banquets, as it seems like they are set up for that. My karma sauce was outstanding, but I was a little disappointed in the vegetables as some of them did not appear to be fresh, but frozen. My son got the chicken appetizer and he said it was delicious and the noun was really good too. We would be back again.

Located inside grand center, nice place serving some good authentic Punjabi cuisine. Food tasted good and made fresh on order. We tried their paneer pakora which was very soft inside and coated with nice seasoned batter,Chole bhature where bature were soft and chole were not black colored ( how you get in Punjab or Delhi side) but very tasty gravy of onion and tomato, Kadhi pakora came with rice that too was very nice. Overall a nice place if around this place and want to try some authentic Punjabi cuisine.
