Celebrated Valentine’s Day with another couple and it was such a great night. We started with ceviche, fried oysters, and duck quesadillas — crispy, savory, and absolutely delicious. For mains, we shared the seafood paella, steak, and branzino. The paella was rich and loaded with seafood, the steak was cooked perfectly, and the branzino was light and beautifully seasoned. We also enjoyed a bottle of Pinot Noir, which paired wonderfully with everything. Good food, great wine, and even better company — the perfect Valentine’s celebration.

Really appreciated to fusion food from this restaurant. The tapas style of the dishes is great to be able to try a little bit of everything without getting too full at once. There were many different types of dishes completely different from each other, but equally as delicious. Having the guacamole served in a molcajete was a very nice touch that stood out to me. Our experience at Sonora was absolutely amazing. From the appetizers, to the main course, to dessert, everything was exquisite. Every dish was beautifully prepared, and the sauces that accompanied each plate were incredibly delicious and complemented the flavors perfectly. My husband and I went here on a side quest on our way up to Stamford and WOW! First, the service and vibe of the restaurant is wonderful. All of the beautiful art work around the restaurant made everything feel cozy and comfy, yet sophisticated; the sugar skulls, flowers, warm tones, and natural fibers brought everything together.
