I placed an order for a standard raspberry whipped cream cake ( off their menu) a week before a birthday. I was very excited since Ive had many delicious cakes from their other location in Niles. However, this cake was disappointing. The bottom cake layer was dense and dry, the rest of the layers had big holes (my guess from poor baking?). I feel like I got a cake that had been sitting there for days. To make matters worse the white and milk chocolate shavings they added for decoration tasted like mold. A complete disappointment and waste of money.

My husband and I have been getting cakes from Oak Mill for over a decade. Most recently, they made desserts for our daughter's first birthday. They made a main cake, smash cake, and iced sugar cookies. Bill was super communicative in the planning stage checking in on every detail including the icing color - wanting it to be just right. Everything turned out even more beautiful than we could have imagined and was exceptionally tasty. It was so good, there were zero leftovers! We would highly recommend Oak Mill and plan to get more desserts from them in the future.
