Stopped into the deli section on my way pass thru to the next town. Had the great pleasure of dealing with Michael in that area. Eccentric and very well mannered and spoken. Got us a deal on what we ordered by making sure it was combined. He welcomed us back with a warm smile and friendly demeanor and if more people were like this they world would have a lot less hate and warmer hearts. I'll be back and id recommend anyone else to stop by and see what Im talking about. Outside of service? The food must've been made by an actual chef. I'm truly sad to have to post this bad review, I've visited this store at least once a week since we moved to Pueblo West, and all the staff has always being so helpful, polite, friendly and made me adm my family feel so welcomed, until today; I had the worst experience with a cashier that I've never seen in the store before; first, we had to ring a bell placed on top od the register to call him, since the beginning he made us feel so uncomfortable like we were bothering him for being there, when he was done checking out all the groceries did not even bother to say the total, he just stared at

Safeway uppers please take note, CARL is AMAZING!!! I love a coffee here and everytime we go it’s out, this time it said in stock in the app so my husband, saw the girl I refer to below, and then saw CARL. So he asked CARL, and CARL went and got it and found him in the store!!!!!!!! CARL gets 5*****!!!! Thank you Carl! The staff here in general is lacking. There is a woman who will tell you “I’m not putting anymore out, this is it for the day” haha ok I’m sure your boss and the owner want you to decide when they stop making money!
