James was wonderful, kind and funny. This was my first time to Mary Lou's, I don't drink coffee however he helped me with choosing something else. He was right, the hot chocolate was devine. I have seen commercials for this place and they are not local to me but I had to come here to try something. I also when in because I was giving a friend a ride and she LOVES coffee and she absolutely loved the coffee.

Loved the new Dubai Chocolate... I got an Iced.... so good... also when leaving I got an Oregon cookie monster for the road.... yummy... there are no bad flavors at Mary Lou's.

I’ve been a loyal customer at Marylou's Coffee for over 15 years, and today (4/21/2026) was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. I ordered my usual drink and a sandwich prepared the same way it has been made for years—something multiple employees at this location are familiar with. Today, I was suddenly told it could no longer be made that way, which was fine, but the issue was the way the manager handled it. I went in today to get a blue raspberry and blackberry Red Bull with cream (a very normal drink in Washington, where I’m from). Before the girl even took my order she was staring at me like I wasn’t supposed to be there or something then laughed when I ordered my drink. Even if it is a weird drink I don’t really think you should laugh! Then she gave me a weird look and said “creamer? And Red Bull?” and I nicely said yes!
