I had some grilled chicken quesadillas from Mexicali Cantina Grill and the food was Fresh, cheesy, perfectly seasoned — every bite was a vibe i would recommended this place to friends and family. i was staying close by and wanted a quick bite and the service was fast and atmosphere was great. Unfortunately, the food here is very mid. We got takeout from here and a few burrito bowls and I have to say, $19 for a steak bowl and we got 8 tiny pieces of beef. They pack the food in a shallow oval container and the container was half empty. Very little food for a $19 bowl. Also Ordered churros that were hard and looked old. I will not order again from this restaurant.

Been driving past Mexicali Grill for about 4 years now and finally tried it last week and i wish i had gone sooner! This place is so good that i had a working lunch there on Monday and brought the wife in for dinner Friday! Lunch - Home made chips and salsa, amazing. Mini Chimi's are a must, insanely good and addictive almost a fight for the last one......Barbacoa burrito was delicious, tender meat and rice with beans wrapped in a delicious over sized tortilla smothered in a cheesy salsa sauce garnished with incredibly fresh salad.
