Another solid spot in Redding Every staff member we’ve interacted with has been incredibly friendly and helpful, and we’ve yet to order something we didn’t enjoy. The drinks have been consistently great too Some of our favorites: Their fried calamari is fantastic, very light and tasty. Their poke nachos are delicious (though they need a bit more tuna) Naan steak tacos are incredible. Short ribs are also top notch. And while we usually sit at the bar, their outdoor seating is really nice as well, will keep you fresh on a hot day.

This is one of my favorite spots to get lunch in Redding. Last time I had the Seared Soy Ginger Ahi Bowl (see pic). Despite its unwieldy name, this dish is delicious! Also I have to tell you that the bartenders here are the best! They serve great drinks and they’re super friendly.

I went to C.R. Gibbs to celebrate my 30th birthday with a party of 10, and it was such a great experience! We only had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated on a busy Friday night, and our server was quick to get waters for the table right away. The indoor atmosphere was perfect—warm but not too hot, with inviting lighting that made it feel like the kind of restaurant where you’d want to celebrate a milestone. Went here for brunch with my family on a Sunday and was surprised that the restaurant was basically empty. Service was friendly and prompt. Food was great (highly recommended the grille plate with biscuits and gravy)! My only issue was that the high chair given to me for my son was gross. Bits of food all over it, and felt like it hadn't been wiped down in ages. Regardless of my little issue, we will probably be returning again soon 🙂
