For the price that is charged, I would expect more than the bare minimum. Upon this visit, the restaurant was nice and clean, and the staff was friendly. However, the food prep and cooking staff have very little clue what they're doing. Stir fry is supposed to be flash cooked, which means that vegetables need to be small and thin enough to cook in the flash time. When you put huge chunks of poorly prepared vegetables and barely cook them, it's not being generous, it's being lazy, or it's not being allowed enough time to prepare things correctly. I love Panda Express as much as the next guy, but as I’m absolutely destroying my plate, I notice something on my noods. I notice that there’s some kind of paper material stuck to it. At first, i thought maybe I had dropped some straw wrapper in my food, & thought nothing of it. But as I continued eating, I noticed another noodle with paper on it. My husband and I had the unfortunate experience of Evelyn serving us our plates. Evelyn gave us an extremely small scoop of everything, and even took a decent amount of chicken OFF my plate, after scooping it on there. When I asked for a little more she glared at me, then placed a single piece of chicken on my plate, and closed the lid. I walk in at 8:40 with nothing but empty food trays with a little sign that says “if you don’t see your food choice just ask and we will kindly make it” and the first thing I’m greeted by is “all you see is what we have right now”. I get you close in 20 minutes but that’s kind of crazy to say at a big place like Panda Express.
