This is a very nice Italian restaurant. The food was excellent. The service was prompt and professional. I appreciated the atmosphere and the fancy table settings. This felt like fine dining at relatively reasonable prices. I liked the brussel sprout starters. The cesar salad was on point. I enjoyed the chicken parm dish, but wish there was less chicken and a better noodle with it.

Being Italian and having been in the restaurant business for 2 1/2 decades, I’m very picky when it comes to Italian food. For some reason, while on business in Reno, I had a craving for veal piccata. I looked up La Famiglia restaurant because it happened to be close and rather highly rated. I couldn’t have been more surprised. The wife and I went for a special dinner evening out been wanting to try this place for quite some time. Excellent food waitress was top notch and service was great. Definitely need reservations and parking's a'lil tricky downtown, but not quite their fault. Spoke with the owner towards the end of our meal for sometime very friendly. Would highly recommend

Just a perfect experience all around. The blackberry cocktail was great. Lobster Ravioli was fantastic. Bread, marinara, cheesecake, all amazing. Gotta be one of Reno’s best dining experiences. We had the pleasure of being waited on by Regina who was great as well.
