I was in town for the day and decided to grab dinner with my brothers. I can't say enough good things about the staff. I wish I had gotten their names because they truly went above and beyond. We were greeted as soon as we walked in, and the staff checked on us several times throughout our meal without ever being overbearing. I ordered the brisket and turkey with cornbread and mac and cheese. The brisket was the only disappointment for me. The service is great! They’re always super friendly when we go in. Most of the food is amazing. The ribs and pulled pork are 5 star, we haven’t had any of the others, yet. Love that they don’t put a ton of salt on the outside of the potatoes and they are huge! The seasoning on them is just right if you like to eat the whole thing. The cornbread is ok, just a little dry. The elote isnt my favorite and I’m not sure what it is about it. The Mac in cheese is great! I am a brisket snob. The bark is ok. Meat has good flavor nice pepper. Banana pudding is ok, not the best. Coleslaw is good. The sauces…they anit Texas, KC, or Carolina sauces. The price to about $7 dollars over priced. No alcohol but we are in a mormon Collegetown so very understandable. I enjoyed the food. 7/10 on the brisket.
