Star Bar is one of those places I hope exist forever! The vibes are immaculate upstairs & down. The events the crew put on & the hired acts themselves are irreplaceable in the hearts of Atlantans. We’re grateful for the experiences we’ve had here & the friends we’ve made & the art we’ve immensely enjoyed. Sundays markets are a must & make sure you go downstairs so Aries can make you a delicious something! There might even be tacos if you come on the right day 😉

This is my favorite bar in or around Atlanta! There’s something going on every night of the week, they have shows regularly with great sound, the staff is always extremely welcoming, the owners are on top of everything but still accessible. They make you feel welcomed, no snobbiness I’ve encountered at other bars. A great place to see music, the sound person is amazing and the size is perfect. If you don’t want to go To the show, the Little Vinyl Lounge downstairs is killer! Great bartenders, cozy seating, pinball! And an outdoor patio! Prices are always reasonable.

Deleting my 5-star review from a couple years ago, since I just had the worst experience I have ever had at a bar. Bartender in the basement area overcharged me for a beer I didn’t order, and then he yelled at me when I asked to have it fixed. He also throw my card at me when I tried to pay. This is not the first time a bartender in the basement was rude to me or my friends, so I’m definitely never going back to Star Bar

the manager was so intoxicated and honestly did not feel welcome. He said this is not a bar for us (hispanics) racist. we were just asking for drinks and we asked for it but he basically ignored it and told us to leave… this happening in atl 2026 is crazyyyy
