I really enjoyed my experience at this restaurant. You first order your food at the counter and then choose your table. Overall it is a somewhat casual dining experience and small enough that is not at all overwhelming. I decided on a steak sandwich and I also tried their sangria. They happened to run out of bread for the sandwich but somehow were able to acquire some so I think my sandwich was on a different kind than is typical. Nonetheless it was super tasty and I really enjoyed the sangria. I would enjoy coming again!

Came into check out guavas today as I needed a cubano sandwich. Parking was easy plenty of street parking. Came in Saturday at noon and no wait for a table of two. You order up at the counter and they give you a number and bring the food out. Had two passion fruit mojitos, lechando asada, and a cubano. The mojitos weren’t my favorite but the food really good. Was eerily quiet though

I have to say, I was craving Cuban food today and I'm visiting MSP for work. So... finding that Guava's Cuban Café was close to my hotel... I took the 15 minute drive. Needless to say, but I am pretty impressed. I had the Ropa Veja which was pretty dang good. Glad the cashier recommended it. It doesn't compete with my Grandma's cooking but I'd get it again. The Picadillo Pastry was also pretty tasty. Highly recommend both. Definitely returning for something else to taste on the menu.

Crave the food here. Tasty and fast. Cafe con leche is better here than anywhere i've been and they'll adjust the sweet factor down a notch for you. Havana for breakfast, pan con churrasco for lunch, Cortina or date night paella-omigoodness. I can eat just the sides here and be very happy😊.
