Fuel Pump is such a gem! I met a friend here for a weekday mid-morning catch-up session, and it was the perfect spot. The vibe inside was quiet enough for some really great conversation, and the overall aesthetic is wonderfully eclectic and progressive. They also have a lovely outdoor seating area with moderate shade, which is perfect for nice days. i’m from virginia beach, but every time me and my friends come to rva we always stop here. the entire staff is so friendly and helpful, they will give honest recommendations if you’re unsure what to get and are always happy to answer any questions about the menu. i’m not a huge matcha person, but the blueberry lavender lemon matcha is genuinely from heaven. another one that i think about all the time was an iced white chocolate latte with honey and cinnamon!! so good for when it’s cold!!! the owner Aaron is so awesome. me and my homegirls love you Fuel Pump RVA!!!

Very impressive selection of coffee drinks and a nice stop in Carytown. We chilled at the counter and did some people watching while having a Matcha latte with lavender and honey and soy milk, pistachio white chocolate and a ginger espresso mule. We got there in time before a line formed to the door. The baristas were very friendly, informative and ready to help you with customized creations.

Genuinely my favorite cafe/bar that I’ve ever been to. I live an hour away and I travel just for this place !! The food and drinks are AMAZING.
