Their food is really bad. I’m sorry the rice is very hard. I have balls of rice that is hard in my plate. It’s like they scraped it off the bottom. The chicken has no flavor. Smh I need to get rid of them cooks, no disrespect

I always ordered from here thru seamless never had an issue till last night. I found maggots in the beans. Last time I order food from here. FYI I ordered the family combo chicken croquettes, white rice & beans. I’m so disappointed & disgusted.

The whole meal was fresh and good tasting . Ordered beef monfongo and and order of small beans and soda . Reasonable price , seems as if it was made with love . Great that the business had nice customer service . Food took awhile to come ;yet the food was hot. Was not expecting it to taste that good will order again because it’s hard to find affordable fresh Latin food nowadays . I recommend a bite there . I hope their able to keep creating fresh food meals that’s affordable .

My parents and I lived very close to here, so being raised in Ridgewood at the time, this became our favorite spot to hang out and eat. This restaurant is special, of course because the food is excellent and the boss is so friendly, but because my mother loved it. The owner and my mom were very close, so when a family event was taking place, we didn't need to ask where we were going. The last time my family was here with my mom was on her birthday, and now she is no longer with us. Sentimental isn't just a word for us when we visit here, but meaningful is what every lunch and dinner means to u
