I went to La Colombe and had the best iced vanilla latte I have ever had and banana bread. The gentleman who served me was extremely kind and respectful. I don’t know what it was about him specifically, but he non-verbally made me feel like welcome and as if I belonged. The special sugar they have is very very good. This is probably been the best latte I have ever had. Banana bread was also a good addition to the drink. All of the seating was taken in the shop so I walked down to the Rittenhouse square/park and enjoyed my banana bread and drink there which ended up being a really good move.

Ordered a s’mores latte - which I had before at this location - stating that because they asked me that when I tried to ask where the chocolate syrup and marshmallow was? I got what looked like a regular latte, asked “I sn’t there supposed to be chocolate syrup in this?” So the guy put chocolate syrup in my cup in the middle. Then I said this is like a mocha latte isn’t there supposed to be some marshmallow? I get told they don’t have any marshmallow but he could put a draft on top. Like just admit you made the drink wrong and remake it. After all that I had to get back to work. Just extremely

A good location close to my hotel, with decent coffee. Had seen pictures with Italian inspired ceramic mugs, which I longed to be served on, but unfortunately they are no longer being used. But the ceramic table tops added that Tuscan touch which I was looking for. Went a little after opening time, and the staff was busier catching up with their own weekend stories than with paying attention to customers’ requests. Like the self service water station which offered both sparkling and still water, with nice looking glasses. Pastries looked a little tired and the apple cinnamon scone was heavy on

What a great find. A gorgeous ' old fashioned' coffee shop with internal tables and chairs, just a short walk form the pretty Rittenhouse Square. It was busy during the yime of my visit, with a short queue, which moved relatively quickly. Service was friendly and effiecient. I had a regular latte which was good quality coffee and was served hot. Just as a like it. Cakes and pastries were available but in managed to resist. Prices were very good for the US. All in all much better quality and value than the branded coffee chains. I'd definitely recommend and return. Thank you.
