Hands down the cutest coffee shop around. This place is tiny...really small but I have no idea what black magic they've done because it doesn't feel claustrophobic. It's actually very well done Claire and Emma are fantastic baristas and they can make a meannnn Cortado (errr Gibraltar) I also got the Sandstorm (their recommendation) and that tasted great too The decor is on point and the place has a cool vibe buttttt as I said, it's a small space, and seating is extremely limited. With that said, I still highly recommend you check this spot out.

Today April 6, 2026, the 2 young lady baristas made my day! Thank you! Both were professional and charming. I even received a beautiful heart atop my drink. The order taker had a great understanding of cappuccinos, which alt milks can be frothed with the steamer. I prefer cow’s milk in Capps, but my Spring allergies are acting up so I’m taking a pasteurized dairy pause. This is a gorgeous, peaceful spot to wake up with a coffee and have a kind chat with the baristas. Other customers are also friendly. KC needs more Hi Hat coffees.

Stopped at this quaint coffee spot in KC to get my mom some much needed coffee! We got there around 10am and there was a line out the door. Don’t let that deter you! Their service was friendly and efficient! A line just means the coffee is good! ;). Ample parking and seating to enjoy your drink or wait for it to be made. My mom ordered a Bean Bean (brown sugar) espresso - she said it was strong likes she wants and not overly sweet, which she also prefers.

I found Hi Hat Coffee on Google maps and I am not disappointed at all. The building was cute, the inside was clean, and the menu is substantial! Cute, little gelato shop in-between other boutique style shops. The owner was so patient and kind. There were several middle school age children in after school and he took his time helping each one. Then we had several items to our order, but he got through everyone quickly. The gelato was amazing and portions were great for the price. If you find your way in the neighborhood definitely stop in for a delicious treat.
