I came here almost exactly one year ago during a trip home & I still think about this place. Amazing coffee, great matcha, and chocolate cake that is to die for! The gals here are all super kind and well-informed about the coffee and tea they serve. It's pretty dope to be able to see the grind setup in the back as well. I'll be moving back to Austin soon and can't wait to become a regular here. Special shout out to the girls for making sure I had everything I needed as I got stranded here for almost 7 hours after being stood up for a date and awkwardly tried not to cry. They didn't pressure me

Coffee Enlightenment is absolutely spectacular exactly the kind of spot the north side of Austin (Round Rock area) was missing. As a total coffee lover, this place checks all the boxes: high-quality beans roasted in-house, unique brewing methods like pour-over, siphon, Chemex, and those awesome coffee flights to taste different origins and techniques side by side. The coffee comes out clean, aromatic, with rich notes and the perfect body no unnecessary bitterness. My wife and I each got an Americano and sat inside. She gets hers black and I like mine with a splash of milk. We both were very happy with our drinks. The espresso is very nice. I’m not sure which roast it is, but it was fantastic. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The shop esthetic is vibey. It is very clean with ample seating inside and outside. It’s clear they pay special attention to the details. Above and beyond. Coffee Enlightenment is a peculiar name, but an elevated experience with delicious coffee.

This is a good coffee. The sign in front of the door says it’s the best in town, and while I realize that’s sensationalism; I felt it was pretty good. My wife got a cappuccino and I got a latte. They were strong, hot, and out right away. I can tell this place is serious about their coffee. Overall I liked it and I’d come back.
