It’s been on my holiday bucket list to check out “Jingle” at Ale Mary’s! The themed menu and decor definitely illuminates the ultimate festive atmosphere! They are definitely busy on the weekends so be prepared to wait. We ended up finding a seat at the bar where we received friendly service and our food arrived promptly and hot! I greatly enjoyed my chicken and waffles, the chicken was freshly battered and the waffles were perfectly crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Tried Ale Mary’s Beer Hall for the first time and it was really disappointing. I ordered the poutine and the Reuben egg rolls. The poutine was just soggy fries with what tasted like pizza sauce and melted cheese, and it didn’t resemble actual poutine at all. The Reuben egg rolls were just as frustrating. There was barely any corned beef inside, and the inside didn’t seem fully cooked. It didn’t have the hearty, satisfying filling you’d expect from something like that. Ale Mary’s is one of those spots that just gets it. Super chill vibe, great energy, and when it’s not freezing outside (Michigan problems 😅), the indoor/outdoor seating setup is perfect. It’s an easy place to settle in, whether you’re grabbing a drink, meeting friends, or easing into a weekend. I love that they have brunch now, and it’s legit. The Dubai pancakes are a must—flavorful, indulgent, and straight-up beautiful. They also know how to properly scramble an egg, which sounds basic until you realize how many places mess that up. I saw a video on IG with your Strawberry Crunch pancakes and showed them to Hubby and we made it today....not recognizing it was also Cinco De Mayo...lol...Not even a spot you would think would even serve breakfast and thats just my opinion but it was ABSOLUTELY THE BEST BREAKFAST I'VE HAD IN A MINUTE....the service was amazing....the drink I ordered was good....the atmosphere was even a vibe.....Needless to say the Strawberry Crunch pancakes didn't disappoint and the Chicken and Waffles were soooooo good too!!!! And the buffalo sauce that came with the chicken and waffles is also a WINNER!!!!
