First timed in St. Charles to visit a friend for their birthday. As you walk up to the inviting painted white brick shop you are presented with beautiful glasses navy doors. One for the entrance and one for the exit so you are never bumping into people. When you enter the brick front you there are great seating options along with an old school record player with a ton of record options. The counter is set back in the next room giving customers room to order and not feel bombarded by other customers in a tiny area. Excellent coffee shop in Frenchtown! Met up with friends for breakfast and conversation, and this place didn't disappoint! My children had savory croissants and a hot coffee and blueberry thyme kombucha. Mocha was my coffee of choice, and it was delicious - not too sweet. A couple of kind ladies gave up their table for our group and found another couple of comfortable chairs across the room. (Thank you - so sweet!) The staff was very attentive and provided great service. We decided we needed to meet up here again. A happy pause in our day! ☕️🧭

Course Coffee Getting to Course Coffee can be a little challenging. Second street, where they are located, is under construction south of them. The area they are in is north of the main historic area people think of as Historic St Charles. If you’re not from the area, you’re going to have to go there purposely. From all appearances, the historic building was once a duplex, which has been opened up and includes two nice size rooms in the front of the building with seating and a large service area in the back. Excellent coffee and experience. You walk in and immediately know they're serious about coffee, and they respect every step of the process. Super knowledgeable, not a drop of arrogance or condescension, and you can tell they're actually grateful for your business. Price is a great value for what you get...it's right in line with every other coffee shop, but it's on a different level. Gotta check them out. And...she even made my to-go latte pretty before the lid went on.
