I love this place but the only thing that bugs me is that they spend a lot of extra time making it look fancy on the plate. My partner usually orders fried rice or noodles or chicken of some type and I get sashimi. Not even nigiri usually or any fancy rolls. Just slices of raw fish. I once waited 45 minutes after he had received his food bc they were busy arranging my fish slices on a huge boat which was entirely not necessary. Went here for a date night with the wife. Wow, I'm so thankful that there is finally a good sushi place in St. Charles County that I have found. This isn't those other places around St. Louis, and I am happy about that. This is legitimate sushi and the texture of the fish is translucent incredible soft. We got the sushi boat and it probably could have easily fed 3 people. Instead I ate entirely too much, and I wasn't mad about it. We will definitely be returning, and this is an instant favorite. There is only one other place I know that surpasses it, but they cost a fortune.

I got the shark plate with sashimi and nigiri and a sushi roll. The food was decent but should have be better. The service was simply awful. There were only 4 tables of people but it took 50+ mins to receive our food for a table of 2. No offer for drink refills. No apologies for the inconvenience. The shark plate was cute. Thats the only part about the visit that was positive.
