As others have mentioned, food is the highlight of this place. We especially liked the Baba Ganoush and Lamb Plate. The plates are generous servings and have a balances combination of flavors: meat, vegetables, rice, sauces, and hummus. Service was fairly quick and attentive. There is plenty of seating area. However, the place is poorly ventilated and there was a strong smell all over the food court. Lastly the suggested tip goes from 20 to 30%. For a place that has no table service and then you have to bus your own table…smh.

Damascus Kitchen blew my expectations out of the water. We had the triple meat plate and lamb gyro - both deliciously flavorful and plentiful. Don’t skip the baklava - the perfect crispy texture and delicious, nutty sweetness that has me thinking about driving the hour to get it again! Service was incredibly fast. Only improvement would be the atmosphere of the food court. Highly recommend getting your food to go or eating outside!

Don’t miss this place! You will love the food!! ( It’s tucked into the Fork Forty Food Hall on State street.). All 3 of the plates we had were amazing - good portions - and soo so tasty!!! Had and highly recommend the Lamb Plate, Damascus Combo and Lamb Arabica with fries! Server was awesome/ great people skills - warm/friendly - great advice and always a smile (had braces on) and so kind! If in downtown Salem or visiting Willamette University- go check this out - you will be so glad you did!!!
