I Really enjoyed the food at this restaurant. It reminded me of restaurant we used to order from when I was a kid. [We had a really big family with 7 kids, so we didn’t go out to eat very often. ]In our case, we had the Golden Crown Chow Fun, and the green bean chicken with garlic sauce. For me, a test of how good Cantonese Chinese food restaurant is: how good of a job do they do with their beef chow fun? I ordered off of Uber eats. There was scrapings from other meals in my soup (a singular piece of meat with a bite taken out, peas, rice, other things that do NOT go in hot and sour soup plus it just tasted like boiled generic flavor, not hot and sour soup at all), my chicken was pink, the sweet and sour sauce tasted metallic... Just don't do it. There are other better places. I shouldn't have tried somewhere new.

This is the best Chinese food in Salem. I have had all of them. As you can tell by the number of reviews I've left, I am very seasoned. I've eaten Chinese food around the country and even in Europe. Used to be so good. Not anymore. Ordered 2 combo dinners tonight. The chow mein was so so. The egg foo young was not cooked completely. The shrimp was not fresh battered . It was prebreaded flat frozen shrimp. Totally disappointing. Had been a customer for over 30 years. Will not go back.
