We had a good experience at El Charrito. The restaurant was very busy during our visit, but the line moved at a good pace and things stayed fairly organized. The food tasted good, and the service process felt efficient considering how crowded it was. There is also a small outdoor seating area available if you want to sit outside. Overall, it was a solid place to stop for food.

El Charrito has amazing authentic Mexican food, but as of lately the quality has been going down in the Salinas, Ca location. There are certain workers that are super stingy with the portions. The last time I went they’ve outdid themselves in a bad way. A worker barely put meat in the burrito, it was pure meat fat, no actual meat in the chile verde burrito. And the worker refused to put a full spoons serving. It’s already a small portion, and to put less is ridiculous. And if you ask them to put more they give attitude.
