Food is good, chips could be better. However, their bread pudding they served with their lent special was horrendous!! I’m talking about the presentation not the flavor. My friend thought it was dog food or throw up. Maybe the cooks could get retrained with plate presentation. Plenty of YouTube videos with restaurant dos and don’ts. Small businesses also need to make an effort by providing good service and good food to sustain their businesses. It goes both ways!

The restaurant is in a small building, which might mean a wait during busy times. Fortunately, there were two open tables when we arrived, so we got lucky on our first visit. Our group of four included myself, and here’s what we experienced: My mom ordered the carnitas, and she found it to be horrible. I tried the chile verde, which was okay but not spicy. My husband had the sope and described it as "eh." My dad didn’t enjoy his food either; he ordered the machaca. So, based on our experience, my rating reflects that only one out of the four dishes was somewhat decent. I didn’t eat the salad

This restaurant has some delicious Mexican dishes. The carne asada was so tender and flavorful. This dish also I had a cheese enchilada, beef flauta, beans and rice. The staff was very friendly and patient.
