Honestly this breakfast spot was such a good find. The waffles were crispy on the outside, soft inside, and the coffee actually tasted fresh instead of burnt like most places. Portions were huge and everything came out looking amazing. Staff had super friendly energy and made the whole experience feel relaxed and welcoming. Definitely feels like one of those places you randomly discover once and then keep coming back every weekend 🧇☕🔥

The food is made with love, and the employees (family or not, are treated like such) and as well as everyone who walks through their doors. Came here on a recommendation from friends. It's right off Knickerbocker and the parking lot is fairly big with plenty of space. We were seated immediately after we walked in. We were given chips and salsa, one thing I enjoyed was how big the chips were, great for scooping salsa. We ordered a strawberry margarita and queso to start. Our food came out quick and hot. I ordered und extreme enchiladas, it was so much good. The beans and rice are top notch, super flavorful but not overwhelming. The enchilada sauce tasted amazing. This place is in my top 3 for favorite Mexican restaurants in San Ang

We used Gil's to cater our staff lunch today and it was SO GOOD. The staff was easy to work with and our food was great! So glad we chose them. We got the enchiladas, beef & sour cream chicken. We will definitely use them again in the future.
