Yum! We were actually on our way to another sichuan food restaurant close by and drove by this place and decided to give it a shot. I’m so glad we did! Most of the food here is delicious and authentic, and it definitely has more of a homey feel. This review is long overdue. I visited Alhambra several months ago and decided to eat at Xiang La Hui after weighing all of my dining options that evening. I'm glad I did because it was a great experience. Even after all of these months I'm still thinking about the food! Everything was hot, nicely plated, and tasted just right. Flavors were nicely balanced and entrees are sizable. I felt like I got my money's worth. The service was nice too. You feel welcomed as a customer and aren't rushed, which I appreciate.
