I’d give it a 4.5 stars. The atmosphere was really nice, quiet and comfy. The Turkish coffee and cappuccino were pretty good. Tried the rose milk cake, pistachio kadyif (I think that’s how it’s called) and chocolate “croissant”. They were all good, just not exceptional (yet). Plus points for the rose milk cake for actually tasting natural (it’s always a gamble).

I’ve been a customer at Sama Coffee Shop for a while, so I was excited to finally try their pistachio cake. Unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. The cake barely had any pistachio flavor. It didn’t even taste like pistachio. The filling had a thick, greasy texture. It felt like I was eating butter. It had a bad smell and tasted terrible. After one bite, I threw it away because it was so disgusting. For the price, I expected a quality pistachio dessert, but this wasn’t it. I don’t recommend their cakes at all !!

If you have epilepsy or are sensitive to flashing lights, please be very careful before visiting this café. Two of the lights were flickering continuously like a strobe light, which was distracting and uncomfortable even for someone without epilepsy. More importantly, flashing lights can be a trigger for seizures in susceptible individuals. I brought this to the attention of the owner, but unfortunately there was no meaningful response or attempt to address the issue. Please see the attached video. Sama coffee has amazing and unique flavor blends in their coffee. My favorites are the Rose Cardamom, Biscoff Cloud, and the Gold Digger. If you’re into unique flavors in your coffee, I highly recommend. Also they have lots of desserts that are tasty as well. The decor is so unique and a beautiful aesthetic. Love them so much that I order via Uber Eats too!!
