The Lighthouse Cafe is one of those tucked-away local spots you almost don’t want to review… because selfishly, you want to keep it to yourself. Parking is tighter than your jeans after finishing breakfast here, but trust me — the food is worth every awkward three-point turn and minor emotional breakdown trying to find a spot. The staff is genuinely friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the specials are always ridiculous in the best way possible. The Eggs Benedict? Had the breakfast at Sunday noon. The restaurant was very busy but no waiting to get seats. Exterior seating available Food was good but I felt the coffee was weak and watery for $4.50. I had been keeping an eye on this restaurant for a while—it looked delicious from the outside—but I hesitated because of the rather low reviews. I believe the name is very fitting because if you look down the street, you might spot the lighthouse of SP in the far distance. Unfortunately, the Lighthouse coffee was closed on this one September sunny afternoon. Hoping to be back to access the food and service at review. Below are my thoughts on breakfast options in San Pedro in general. Lighthouse Café, The Corner Store, Rex Cafe and Colossus on Harbor.
