Back again with some more bangers. So glad to see the team in the kitchen again. Ben was my gf and I’s server for today and he crushed it as always; we frequently request his section when he’s at Flora & Fauna for dinner and he’s consistently so warm and accommodating. It was such a pleasure to see him at Strangebird. Food was awesome; I loved my Quesadilla. I saw someone with the Smokehouse Plate and I stared in hungry envy (lol). The potatoes were deeply seasoned, the esquites were cool… however we prefer them warm. Note— it comes cold!! My sole wish is that the chicken on the chicken sand

Sooooo glad they recovered after the fire. I’m completely gobsmacked ( first time using that word!) and relieved by the quality of the restoration. It’s actually like nothing happened. We had lunch there today. Our server, Justin, ( inside-ish joke, but he’ll answer to Jason with good cheer), was the perfect example of an attentive, charming, and knowledgeable. The food- yom to the 10th power. My partner’s chicken sandwich was a great combo of crunch on the outside and moist in the inside. He doesn’t usually finish a meal but he did this one! A really cool setting for this restaurant diner style with a counter even. We ordered a French onion burger and the Monday special. Fried chicken on flat bread. I really enjoyed the burger, my chicken special was fairly pedestrian. Service was fine. Maybe just not my cup of tea, a good variety menu. Would try again if back this way.

Fantastic food and service! Everything is so flavorful and executed perfectly. We especially loved the smoked chicken, red rice, and chicken sandwich! It's like they took the knowledge and passion so evident in Common Thread/Farm and made it into a much more low key and chill environment! Love this addition to the dining scene here.
