5/31/26: Order thru Door Dash @ Taqueria Zarape {Seaside} for the first time from this restaurant. After looking thru my choices of dishes, I decided to order the menudo, available Saturday and Sunday only{$15.25} along with Large Spanish Rice {$6.38} and two cans of Pepsi {$4.00}.Lately I’ve tried Sarita’s Mexican Grill{Monterey}, and Las Cazuelas {Seaside} thru Door Dash,although both were okay wasn’t completely satisfied with the taste of their dishes. No-frills joint with standard Mexican fare in large serving sizes. Today I got the jumbo burrito, mojado style (wet), no meat, no rice, no lettuce. It's stuffed with beans, grilled onions, grilled red and green bell peppers, sour cream, cheese, guacamole, and topped with enchilada sauce and yet more cheese. Muy delicioso. Too much cheesy goodness for one man in one sitting. I recommend ordering items without lettuce as it can be too wet, drawing out flavor and making for difficult eating. This is my safe Mexican restaurant to eat at when I miss my mom’s home cooked meals. Burritos are always huge and super tasty (get the tripa). I love that they have free chips and salsa. The customer service is always outstanding. Keep up the good work!
