Matto Wine Bar in Shelton was such a fantastic experience! The food was outstanding — delicious New York-style pizza (honestly, the best pizza I've had since moving to CT!). The shrimp ceviche was absolutely out of this world, and the bread with hot oil was simple but SO flavorful and addictive. Their reilsing wine was delicious, and the quality of the food across the board really stood out. A special shout-out to Alberto, our server, who was incredibly kind, attentive, and made our experience even better. I had such a wonderful lunch at Matto Wine Bar with a friend. The ambiance is absolutely beautiful, and the service was top-notch—attentive, friendly, and welcoming from start to finish. The prices were surprisingly great for the quality. We both ordered the fettuccine short rib, and it was honestly one of the most delicious dishes I’ve ever had. The portion was perfect, and it was so good I ordered another to take home for my husband—he devoured it! Dessert was also delicious (even though I can’t remember the name). I will definitely be back!

Our waitress was very friendly and the food was enjoyable, but It took over an hour for a table of 5 on GNO to get their drinks and appetizers. We weren’t the only table who had this problem, as several other tables left the restaurant because they were waiting so long for their food and drink orders.
